InterfaceFLOR Floating Floor Carpet Tiles
InterfaceFLOR's next generation innovation TacTiles eliminate the health hazards of VOCs (volatile organic compounds) prevalent in conventional carpet glues, making them ideal for use in schools, healthcare facilities, public and private buildings.
TacTiles are glue free adhesive films that connect carpet tiles together to form a stable surface, creating a floating floor over almost any hard surface. They're a sustainable alternative and also perfect for heritage fitouts, where maintaining original flooring integrity is a concern.
TacTiles are easy ot remove and recycle, making replacement of stained carpet tiles a simple and economical task.

Cleancrete pavers that clean the air
Quantumstone has developed the 'Cleancrete' range of pavers to contribute in creating a healthier environment. The Pavers made with 'Cleancrete" will reduce the amounts of pollutants in the air above it. By constructing paved areas the naturally occurring process of pollution degradation by photolysis is accelerated by up to 30 times.
A specially modified titanium dioxide is used as a photo catalyst. The photocalactic reaction is triggered by ultraviolet radiation generated by sunlight. The chemical reaction will convert pollutants such as nitrogen oxides (NOx) into harmless and beneficial nitrates. The chemical reaction between the "Cleancrete" and ultraviolet radiation is not depleted and remains intact. Therefore the photo catalytic reaction of "Cleancrete" will continue to clean the air indefinitely.
This technology is being used on projects throughout Europe and Asia, with outstanding results with projects tested showing results of 60% reductions of nitrogen oxide pollutants in the air. The 'Cleancrete" technology is available in the entire range from
Masonry and Slate Pty Ltd with an option for custom designs in order to meet any style, colour or size required.

Rieder fibreC available in Australia
Image: Zaragoza Bridge. Pavillion for the EXPO 2008 in Zaragoza Spain. Architect Zaha Hadid.
“The great thing about fibreC is the chance to re-evaluate the concrete itself – concrete traditionally speaking: heavy, cold, strong, whereas fibreC allows us to make something very light. So how do you make it more light, how do you make it warmer, how do you get different qualities out of it, how to shift the notion of the stereotypical understanding of the material.” Yusuke Obuchi, Co-Director, AA Design Research Lab

Dry Glass Water Feature in Gungahlin
CrystalPave crushed glass decorative paving systems have been used to create a "dry water feature." The "Islands and Eddies" feature forms the central focal point of the Central Linear Park in Gungahlin Town Centre.
"Water restrictions prevented us from designing and installing a water feature favoured by the local community," said landscape architect Paul Bombardier of dsb Landscape Architects. "So the concept behind the feature was to provide an abstract expression of that desire."
CrystalPave crushed glass decorative paving by MPS Paving Systems Australia was chosen as the solution - a combination of recycled, coloured glass and a UV stable resin binder. It is mixed and trowelled to form a durable pure glass surface.

Tiled Floating Floors
Innvotech's InnvoLoc™, the world’s first peel ‘n stick floating floor tile system.
With InnvoLoc, any tile can become a floating tile as the peel ‘n stick glue is pre-applied to the InnvoLoc bases not the tile.
The InnvoLoc system consists of three components: acoustic recycled rubber underlay; pre-glued size-adjustable interlocking bases; and flexible grout. InnvoLoc utilises InnvoLay recycled rubber acoustic underlay to provide a firm, non-slip and quiet foundation on which to lay the InnvoLoc bases. The joins are grouted using InnvoGrout flexible grout.
